Refund & Returns Policy

Product received damaged or faulty:

We work hard to ensure all products sold by Machine Head International meet our strict quality standards. We also have set procedures to ensure all products sent to our customers are very carefully packaged. But sometimes things do go wrong.

If a product you have received is damaged or faulty, please contact our office on 03-8770 2211 or email info@machinehead.com.au immediately so we can arrange a replacement.

Please note: No credits, refunds or replacements can be given until you have first spoken to our sales office at Machine Head International and until you have been issued with a stock return number (SRN).

We will pay for all replacement shipping charges for items that have been sent incorrectly or are received damaged.

 

Product doesn’t fit:

The cars of today are extremely complex and manufacturers often change a vehicles specifications mid-model. This means that it can be very hard to identify the exact replacement item that will fit your car.

If we have recommended a product that doesn’t fit your car, please contact our office on 03-8770 2211 or email info@machinehead.com.au immediately so we can arrange a replacement.

You have changed your mind:

We understand that circumstances can change and that you may wish to return a product purchased on our website.

We may accept products returned within 30 days of purchase but only under these strict conditions.

The product must be returned in brand new condition and packed in its original undamaged packaging. We will not issue a credit or replacement for any products that have been returned in a damaged state or appear to have been fitted or used.

Note that Australian consumer law does not guarantee a refund or replacement  if you received the product that you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it.

Again, please do not return any products until you have spoken to our sales office on 03-8770 2211 and have been given a stock return number (SRN).

For the return of items that may no longer suit your needs, all postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and we require that you pre pay all postage costs.
